Necron Tremor Spam, or Why I'm a Bad Person
So I've been taking a bit of a hiatus from 40k recently, though last night I decided to give it a shot. I built a Necron army a while ago, with the funny idea that I'd make a list that just avoids combat at all cost, without any real answer on how to survive should I actually end up in fisticuffs. My opponent was using a Blood Angels with 5 Dreadnoughts, and a nasty Death Company squad with Reclusiarch in Stormraven (with one of those said Dreads in tow). Sadly, it became apparent by the end of turn 3, his options were pretty much nil, and all that he had been able to kill was 6 Immortals and one of my CCB's. I had killed nearly all of the dreadnoughts, was about to finish off the Death Company, and his two small scoring units didn't have a bright future. I may have won, but it wasn't really a fun game, though it did show that my wacky idea may have some teeth. Sorry Nate!
