Eating Disorders: Abusing the Ogre Kingdoms Book
So a friend of mine has challenged me to come up with the most dirty Ogre Kingdoms book as possible. This is not something I typically go for, but I love my fatties and I love a challenge, so I figured what the hell, why not? Well, I wrote a list that made me vomit in my mouth a little, and coincidentally enough, I have all the models needed to actually give this a whirl. Without further hesitation, I present to you the result of this disgusting challenge:
Slaughtermaster: Level 4, Lore of Death, Great Weapon, Armor of Silvered Steel, Greedy Fist, Channeling Staff
Bruiser: BSB, Heavy Armor, Ironfist, Deathcheater, Runemaw Butcher: Level 2, Lore of the Great Maw, Hellheart
15 Ironguts: Full Command, Lookout Gnoblar, Standard of Discipline
6 Maneaters: Brace of Handguns, Heavy Armor, Standard Bearer, Banner of Eternal Flame
Ironblaster Ironblaster Thundertusk
Total: 2499
So yeah... Big Irongut-star in the middle, all the characters in one basket, the Thundertusk walks up along side and makes people strike simultaneously with getting punched in the face by 45 Irongut attacks, plus my slaughtermaster and pals. The Maneaters sit across the field and shoot apart any enemy casters and/or BSB's that they desire to remove, or if I'm going against something regenerating, try to strip that in the shooting phase so that the pair of Ironblasters can take care of any enemy Abom's or Hydras.
I've been considering dropping the Thundertusk for some mournfangs, but it will take a few games of testing to see if the lack of the Thundertusk wouldn't hurt the army. Drop the Thundertusk, Heavy Armor on Maneaters and the Channeling Staff, add in 3x Mournfangs with Ironfists, Heavy Armor, Standard Bearer, Dragonhide Banner and either add a Musician/Champion or give my Butcher a Great Weapon. I'll let you guys know how my testing goes.
I'm looking forward to giving this a whirl, but if I win, I wont feel good about it, lol.
