Bay Area Open: The Results!
Alright, I've survived, though I should add, just barely. It was an interesting event, and overall I had a great time. Like any tournament, you get a lucky few games with some really great people, and then you also get some games in against people with less personality than a potato. My Beasts performed better than I expected, despite my 1-2-2 ratio, but I'll go over that tomorrow when I break down my army and talk about what did and didn't work.
In the meantime, sit back, relax and look at a wall of numbers:

As a whole, the group I went with, did pretty poorly, though the last few games when we knew we weren't going to place, so we were all looking to make the games fun, instead of necessarily trying to pants the opponent to break the top 10. We definitely learned a lot though about the competitive scene in the Bay Area, for better or worse. :)
Stay tuned for more coverage this week for the Bay Area Open!
